Welcome to The Wedlock Saga. By engaging our wedding planning, styling, design, or coordination services, or accessing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms establish a transparent, professional framework designed to protect both our clients and our creative team throughout the planning journey and event execution.
1. Booking, Retainers, and Payment Schedules
To reserve our services and lock in your event dates, a non-refundable retainer fee is required alongside a signed service agreement. All subsequent payments must follow the agreed-upon payment schedule, with the full remaining balance cleared prior to the commencement of the first event day. Failure to make scheduled payments on time may result in the suspension of planning services or cancellation of contract obligations.
2. Scope of Services and Design Approvals
Our services encompass event design, vendor curation, master timeline drafting, and on-site operational coordination as specified in your individual contract. Final spatial layouts, visual mood boards, vendor rosters, and design blueprints require explicit written approval from the client. Any structural modifications, scope expansions, or additional decor requests made after final approvals may incur additional design fees, vendor costs, or material surcharges.
3. Cancellations, Postponements, and Rescheduling
In the event of a cancellation by the client, all retainer fees and progress payments made prior to notice are strictly non-refundable to cover administrative time, design preparation, and lost booking opportunities. Should you need to postpone or reschedule your wedding dates, we will make every reasonable effort to transfer our services to the new dates, subject to team availability. Additional rescheduling fees or updated seasonal rates may apply.
4. Vendor Management and Third-Party Contracts
While we curate, recommend, and coordinate vetted third-party vendors—such as caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainers—clients contract directly with these external providers. We act as your strategic event directors and coordinators; however, we are not liable for performance failures, service deficiencies, or contractual breaches caused by external third-party vendors.
5. Client Responsibilities and Guest Hospitality
The client is responsible for providing accurate guest counts, dietary requirement schedules, and venue access guidelines within the stipulated project timelines. Host families and clients are expected to ensure that guests maintain reasonable conduct throughout the celebrations. Damages caused to custom decor installations, rented props, or venue property by event guests will be billed directly to the client.
6. Force Majeure and Limitation of Liability
Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in executing event responsibilities due to events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather events, natural disasters, acts of government, or public emergencies. In such circumstances, our team will work diligently to provide suitable alternatives. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fee paid by the client under the agreement.
